Today after the mass amount of stuff I had to do… I had to go grocery shopping too!
Camden, my oldest always wants his own cart, which I think is too cute although sometimes it can become a huge project.
By the time we were done at the store, he was done pushing his own cart for sure, he was lagging by the time we hit the frozen food section.
Oh, and he refuses to take those sunglasses off lately, even for me to put them on the right way.
And I was…
This was my fortune at dinner… It was almost comical because my husband and I always joke about this.
I feel like I am always working in the nursery, but I snapped a couple pictures finally to show all the progress.
I still have weeks of work, but every little bit feels amazing to get done!
Ben and Camden went to the babysitter when I went to a doctors appointment… and I came back to them enjoying popcicles… Ben was incredibly cute because he is just learning how to eat one…
I had to snap a picture…
Yes, I completely stand by this…
When I was a little girl, I was obsessed with my little ponies and of course I will pass this along to my daughter.
Over the summer when I was at BlogHer, I went on a bus tour of the city hosted by one of the popular bloggers that was attending the conference, and they were hosting a twitter giveaway during the tour. If you got the trivia question right, you would win one of various prizes.
Well, I ended up winning a basket of toys provided by a popular PR firm that was also attending the conference. One of their clients just happened to be My Little Pony.
So, in the basket of toys was a buttload of My Little Pony’s alone with stuff from Fisher Price, and stuff I wrapped up for Christmas for the boys.
These are in the nursery and ready for our little girl!
Ben and Camden were sitting on the couch together watching one of the annoying morning cartoons I try and tune out, and next thing you know, it got realllllly quiet.
Of course I popped my head into the living room from the kitchen, and I noticed Ben was out like a light, and Camden had moved to the other side of the couch to let his little brother catch some z’s.
It was SO cute!
The best part of all was… Ben fell asleep with part of his lunch in his hand.
Gotta love the English Muffin included in the picture.
I didn’t take the picture myself, but yesterday I went for an ultrasound and I loved this picture they printed out of our little girls foot. How cool is that?
So there was a sale on Carters.com and I got some stuff for the fall, and winter… Except two outfits that will fit for the summer. I went through everything we have for the baby when it comes to clothes, and realized we have a lot to get.
But I am going to wait to shop anymore till after the shower!
I promise!
Progress? Kinda…
I got rid of one of the pieces of furniture we aren’t going to be using, thankfully it went to a good home. My mother decided she wanted it for the kids toys at her house, score.
Then I also had my husband move the vanity into the garage for the time being, freeing up a ton of room, although it is on the other side of the room, and you can’t see it.
The crib has become a storage unit until the Ikea stuff can be built sometime during the week… which are the two brown boxes in the picture also.
The garden shelf I have been storing things on needs to go to the garage too until it is warm enough to go back outside on the deck, I am still wondering how it ended up inside my house to begin with?
This is how Ben rolls on lazy days.
He enjoys his PJ’s, blankets, and his older brothers Leapster to pretend he knows what he is doing.
As long as it keeps them from fighting over an inanimate toy, whatever!
But seriously… doesn’t that smile just melt your heart?
Meet Sox
He is our first born.
We got him when I was about 8 weeks pregnant with our oldest son, and he was like our child, for the duration of my pregnancy.
He also was like my husband too because after I had to leave my job, and my husband was working two jobs, he became my best friend.
He is 4 years old, enjoys getting into the garbage, snatching anything we leave too close to the edge of the counter, and of course cuddling. He is the best lap dog anyone could ever ask for, and I believe he really is part Gazelle.
His best friend Spike recently passed away, so he is kind of bummed out about that.
He is a huge push over also.
Meet Fenway
She is our female Cocker Spaniel, and she is pretty laid back.
She enjoys long walks on the beach at Sunset, and playing fetch with a tennis ball and our next door neighbor Tom.
We call him her boyfriend, because they play almost daily.
She is the Alpha dog in the house, although we got her a year after our oldest Cocker Spaniel, Sox.
Even more Ribbon… I told you I have an obsession with it…
