Round is a shape, I know, but it is not a shape I enjoy being. Yesterday I went on a 1.99 mile walk with my best friend Kaitlyn and her daughter Kambria around the little waterfront community we grew up in, Lordship.
It felt so good to get out in the nice weather, with the kids and have an awesome walk. I am going to do it again today! It made me start thinking about ways to get back in shape. After having my oldest, Camden, the weight just melted off and I was back to myself in no time. After Benjamin I lost all my weight I gained during pregnancy, but I still have a “belly” that I want to get rid of. Most do not noticed it but it bothers me.
So I am launching my lose 27 pounds campaign. I need to get back to being ME! I made a little ticker to help me, and I started working on my new project this morning!
Instead of my Saturday Morning donut, I switched over to a bowl of special K. And I am going to pack up Benjamin shortly and head out for another walk. I am hoping like yesterday he sleeps through the majority of this walk too.
I am planning to talk 4-5 times a week at least 2 miles a day. The kids love it, and I do too. I am also looking to invest in a trailer for the boys for the back of my bicycle. $600 bike that has been collecting dust in our garage for almost 2 years.

I think this will help to make working out a little more exciting for the kids also. In short, 27 pounds here I come!
oh i’m so there with you. i’d like to be 125 again. I was overweight in highschool (i babysat a lot and ate junk food). lost weight before my wedding. gained weight after my first, and proceeded to lose it again working out and eating healthier options — then immediately got pregnant.
lol now after baby #3, i would love to be able to fit in my old jeans without having to suck in my belly. i have at least 20lbs to lose.
