I am noticing that these are seeming to become more and more popular.
From celebrities that choose the day to have their baby and when to plan their C-Section, and average Joe’s who just get to choose that they would like a C-Section when offered by their provider.
My sister, 37 years old, 37 weeks pregnant, was admitting into L&D last night for the 3rd time. Every time before this they have stopped her labor because it was too early. This time since she is 37 weeks the on call doctor *since it was Easter and didn’t want to be bothered*
offered her three choices.
1) Pain Medication – She declined.
2) To Stop her Labor – She declined.
3) A C-Section – She also declined.
Why would she offer her a C-Section?
She is not unable to birth a child. She has an 11 year old son who was born perfectly fine in 45 minutes. There is no reason for her doctor to offer her serious major abdominal surgery.
NO REASON!!!!!!!
Her labor did not progress, they sent her home while having contractions about a minute apart.
This is why our state has the 7th highest C-Section rate in this entire country.
Wow. There’s something wrong with this picture.
I agree. She is still pregnant, I will be going with her to her doctors appointment tomorrow morning.
