Honestly, I feel like I have hit a brick wall with my weight loss. I was going awesome for the first 3 months after Addie was born, and it seems like I am stuck around 130-134 pounds depending on the day.
I used to run at least 3 times a week when I still lived at my parents house, and before I got married and all that fun stuff. It was a stress release for me almost… I would put my iPod on, and just run. Even if it was just through the beach and then home… it felt amazing.
Now I am way out of shape when it comes to running… I haven’t done it in years, and I live in a neighborhood now with its fair share of hills… lots of hills. It is weeks like this I wish I still lived in my parents house. Besides the fact that it is “home” to me, the neighborhood is to die for!
I picked out a pair of minimalist running shoes to get back into the swing of things… The Women’s ProGrid Mirage… and let me tell you they are amazingly comfortable! I threw them on first thing Saturday morning to do all my chores in, and I had a lot of them!
I have always been a running and walking shoe snob, but these probably take the cake, and I have had some nice shoes, back in the day before every decent dime went towards kids apparel. Now my kids are better dressed than I am now! Ha!
Anyways… I will be writing on and off about my running quests, and how amazing these bad boys are! I will also put up a true review once I have actually done a couple miles running in them, but thus far they get two big thumbs up from me!
