A little after midnight my husband’s fire department pager went off and he was dispatched to a car that was on fire. Confirmed at least one explosion along with the fire. So Echo Hose took out Engine 2 and headed towards the fire.
Apparently it was a stolen car had been dumped off in a quiet local neighborhood, and been lit on fire.
Never a dull moment.
I can imagine that having a firefighter in the family does leave for very few moments. I was worried you were going to say that it was your stolen car.
Stopping by from SITS.

I am pretty lucky that we live in a semi quiet town, the worst thing that happens most of the time is a car fire. But lucky for me, I sleep through most of the calls at night because he doesn’t have time to go during the day while working full time.
LOL! I am certainly glad it wasn’t my car, though I dont think anyone would want to steal ours!
