Last night was Echo Hose’s second softball game. And the team is officially 2-0! They won over Seymour’s Fire House in a truly comical game. After the display of these clowns playing last night, I will be sure to be at EVERY game! Some of the moments were simply priceless.I snapped a ton of great pictures which spread like wildfire through facebook once we got home and I uploaded them. It was slightly on the cold side though. I am hoping that it warms up. Seriously we were FROZEN by the time we got home. I had to take a bath to thaw!
Couple of the guys before the game. Jonesy, Andrew, Brennan, CJ, Steve, and Jr is kind of in the picture…
Kerry Anne and Ben all cuddled up staying warm.
If you read the DH section of my blog, you would have seen my post about how incredibly quiet it has been in recent weeks. Well, of course I totally jinxed the local fire department.
What happened after that post?

Propane truck fire, that could have been MUCH worse than it turned out to be. Thankfully al the men that responded to this call are safe and no one got hurt!
That same night, they were called to a car fire.

Turned out to be a stolen car, that was completely gutted, there was not even an engine! The car ended up rolling and hitting one of the firetrucks! Again, thankfully everyone was ok.
Early this morning DH was called to a car accident on the main road in our town which people think is a race way. Two cars completely totalled.
Now we have “dangerous” rains coming towards us, to the tune of 6-7 inches. So stay tuned for lots of flooded houses, pump outs and idiots causing car accidents!
The area we live in has a highway called “Route 8″ that runs through our town. It is a 4 lane highway, 2 lanes on each side, and the majority of it is straight. There are a couple curves with signs that detail it and warn about the hazard ahead.
Point of the post? Yesterday there were two roll over accidents, in the rain on straightaways on this highway. How these people have rolled their cars over in this area is beyond my husband or myself.
First took place mid afternoon, my husband was on his way home from work early to take the children to the Doctor. He passed by though if he could have stopped he would have. Result of that accident?

Car into the woods, no injuries, no extrication (people got out on their own)
Then last night we were settling in to watch some TV and cuddle with the toddler when the pager went off. Another roll over, victim laying in the median. Ok, so he gets up and goes.

Driver charged with DUI on the spot.
Her boyfriend arrested for interfering with the police, while claiming he was the driver.
Never a dull moment.
