The Post Baby Bathing Suit

After having children, I came to the conclusion that I absolutely HATED bathing suits. I didn’t like the way any fit, I didn’t like the styles I could find in my local Target, and I didn’t like how the new one piece retro styles I liked were catered to fit towards the young, never had a child bodies. In short, I have owned one bathing suit since my kids were born.

Until this Summer.  I came across this absolutely adorable Portland Based Swimwear company, and it was love at first sight. I started looking through the  website and just knew that my suit for this summer just needed to be from this retailer.

Popina Swimwear offers a plethora of different Retro Swimwear that I just fell in love with. I fought with myself while looking through the website debating on a once piece, or a Tankini for my new suit.  Then I saw the bathing suit bottom that did me in and I totally knew I was going to go with a two piece Tankini.

I went back and forth even more when I found the page of Jantzen Vamp Swimwear, and I almost gave up my love for the one I had picked out. Needless to say, my decision took me a good hour before I could go through with with one I wanted. Heck if I could afford it, I probably would buy one of each!

In the end, I went with the Tankini, and I got it in the mail mid week last week. I immediately put it on and fell in love!  It fit awesome, and it covered me perfectly. Something I needed for my Mom Body.

I know there are so many mothers out there in the same boat as me, especially today on the first day of summer. And many of us actually go out of our ways to skip the pool or bathing suit related activities because of the way we think we would look. Don’t!  Go over to Popina’s website and find one that will fit you, and that you like!
